Frequently asked questions
How do I book a tour?
Pick a tour, choose a date and pay online, or get in touch first if you want help deciding. You will get a confirmation by email with your guide’s contact details closer to the date.
Is it really just my own group?
Yes. Every private tour on this site is for your group only, not a shared tour with strangers. If you are a larger group, we can also add extra guides rather than merge you with anyone else.
Which languages are the tours available in?
English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Italian. Let us know your preferred language when you book.
Can I combine more than one city in a day?
Yes, several of our tours already combine two or three cities in a single day, with the travel between them arranged for you. If you want a combination that is not listed, get in touch and we will look into it.
What happens if it rains?
Tours go ahead in almost all weather. Our guides know the city well enough to lean on covered stops and indoor moments if it turns wet.
How far in advance should I book?
A few days is usually enough for a single-city tour, though popular dates in spring and summer can fill up faster. Larger groups and combination tours are best booked a few weeks ahead.
