The tour operator provided a historian to specifically cater this tour to the history of our family. The tour began at the statue of my ancestors, then included the birthplace, workplace, and church of my ancestors. The truly most emotional and moving part of the tour was entering the beautiful church and viewing the burial crypts of my ancestors. “Linda was the perfect guide, host and ambassador! I’ve been to Leiden several times for work and wanted to learn more about the city and its history. Linda did that and much more as I was also introduced to Delph, a short train ride from Leiden, the city with historical significance and famous for its Blue Delph ceramics. After the tour was over, I spent the rest of the afternoon exploring Delph on my own. A super bonus was we had spectacular weather. Not too hot or cold. I felt like I learned a lot of history, was taken to the top interest points, was put on a tuk tuk to the Royal Delft Museum with return trip included. I spent 2 hours in the museum and gift shop, then enjoyed peaceful time in the garden cafe. The whole day was perfect. The guide was humorous, had vast knowledge and kindly shared great insights and suggestions. I would highly recommend this tour.”

“Robin è stato una guida fantastica! Era preparato, simpatico e pronto a offrire un bel tour dell'Aia e anche di Delft. Robin è stato bravissimo ad adattare il tour a quello che volevo vedere e mangiare. Spero che rimandi il più a lungo possibile un lavoro d'ufficio dalle 8 alle 17 e che continui a far conoscere alla gente queste bellissime città. Spero anche che aggiunga un tour gastronomico, perché sedermi con una birra e mangiare i bitterballen (con la senape) è stata la mia parte preferita!”
